Questionnaire

This is the questionnaire i give to 20 people to find out what they looked for and wanted in a music magazine. I put them all together to get an idea on how to make the perfect music magazines which will sell loads of issues.

As part of research into Exam preparation. I have researched certain parts in the making and distribution of the film 'Monsters'.

Target Audience
The BBFC give this film a age rating of 12a, the target audience for this film is anything from 12+ or if under 12 they must be accompanied by an adult. This is a film that the who family can enjoy.

Location
Although monsters is a British film it was not filmed in Brittan. It was filmed in Belize, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico and Texas (USA).
Monsters premiered at the South by Southwest Film Festival on 13th march 2010 in the U.S.A. Monsters had its UK premiere on 18th June 2010. Monsters premiere in US theatres was on 29th October 2010 and 5th November in Canada.
Budget 
The starting budget came in at just under £500,000
Marketing and Distribution (UK & Worldwide)
The weeks leading up to the release of the movie lots of campaigns and advertisements were posted on popular social networking sited like twitter and facebook. Popular cinemas like Vue Entertainment and Cineworld set up ‘Infection Zones’ which people could see exclusive contence and have the chance to win on-the-spot prizes.  ’Magnet Releasing’ was  in-charge of distributing the film in the US and ‘Vertigo Films’ was in-charge of it in the UK. 



 

We were giving a brief to deign and make a magazine for heworth grange school. We had to make a front cover and a contents page. To make these parts of my magazine, firstly, i had to go around the school and take pictures, the more pictures the better as i had a wider range to choose from. Once i had all my pictures it was now just choosing the ones that worked the best. i started off with the background first using yellow, yellow is one of the heworth colours so i thought it worked really well. I then added the magazine title and a bit of information on what issue and date he magazine was.also a few pictures and a little bit of writing which gives you information on what the main story's are. On the contents page is a few pictures and more information on what is in the magazine. all the pictures have got a Shadow in the background, i think it makes it stand out that little bit more.
